Racing background:
Brittany earned her NHRA competition driver’s license in 2003 after graduating from Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School. After suffering a mild concussion when her BrandSource dragster hit the guardwall during testing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway prior to the start of the 2007 season, she enjoyed her most productive outing when she was one of the last 13 Super Comp survivors from an original field of 103 at the CSK Nationals at Phoenix, Ariz., in February.
Notable: Acknowledged to be her father's "problem child," Brittany is a headstrong California blonde with a serious "need for speed" - one that hasn't always been channeled to the racetrack.
Unlike older sisters Adria and Ashley, Brittany initially eschewed the family business in favor of a job at a local Yorba Linda-area pizza café. A further manifestation of her rebellious nature occurred on her father's 56th birthday when she showed up wearing an "I Love N.Y." t-shirt while every other woman in the team compound was wearing one that said "I Love John Force."
Nevertheless, like her father and her sisters, once she’s strapped into the cockpit of her BrandSource race car, Brittany is intensely competitive.
"She's tough when she gets in the car," her father said, “but she has to decide what she really wants to do. If she wants to be a schoolteacher (a declaration she made during one of the 2006 episodes of Driving Force), that's fine with me. She's always gone her own way and if that’s what she wants to do, I’ll support her, but if she wants to race, I’ll do all I can to give her a chance (to succeed)."
