The Dallas SWAT team is on the run in a high-speed chase that takes them across three counties in pursuit of a man who has carjacked an 18-wheeler taking it's driver hostage. The intense situation heats up when the truck finally comes to a stop and SWAT has it surrounded. Negotiator Joe Guzman tries to calm the situation, but the suspect sounds increasingly volatile and the hostage desperately pleads for her life. Next, Officers Keith Reig and Johnny Baker storm a suspected drug den and are surprised by whom they find inside. The following day, Officer Baker shows up empty handed at the Dallas Police Department's annual "Top Gun" competition. Now, he must compete with a weapon he's never fired before.
