Ravi Kapoor
Character Bio | Actor Bio


Born in Liverpool, England, Ravi Kapoor is a skilled actor, having studied at London's East 15 Drama School. His television credits span both sides of the pond. In England, he appeared in several television series for the BBC: Peacock Spring, Blood & Peaches, and In a Land of Plenty. American audiences may recognize him from the series Gideon's Crossing, in which he played a second-year medical student.

His theater credits are equally global. He has appeared in the Los Angeles production of Rice Boy at the Mark Taper Forum. He also wrote and directed the play Oh Sweet Sita with productions in London and Toronto. Following his move to the United States several years ago, Kapoor worked with a touring children’s theater company, performing such plays as The Tempest; The Three Musketeers; The Odyssey; and Romeo and Juliet.

Kapoor is a member of the South Asian Artists Collective and one of the organizers of its annual Artwallah Festival, which showcases South Asian talent in the fields of film, literature, drama, music, and the visual arts.

Kapoor resides in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Meera Simhan. His passions are acting and reading. His birthday is June 27.
