From the age of six, Criss Angel has immersed himself in a multitude of art forms, from performance artist and musician to mystfier and provocateur. Criss Angel has performed in more hours of primetime television than any other magician in history. Simultaneously, Criss has also partnered with Cirque Du Soleil and MGM/Mirage on his extraordinary live show "Criss Angel BeLIEve". More of an event than a show, BeLIEve is scheduled to be performed live 10 times a week for the next 10 years at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Prior to BeLIEve, Criss' off-Broadway show, Criss Angel MINDFREAK, recorded the higher advance tickets sales during its fourteen month/600 performance run than any other off-Broadway show.

Completing something of a superstar trifecta, Criss' first book, Criss Angel MINDFREAK: Secret Revelations (HarperCollins), was a LA TIMES bestseller, and is now in its third printing.

Criss has also received numerous awards throughout his career. He has been named Magician of the Year an unprecedented five times, far more than any other magician. And most recently, Criss was named the first time ever Magician of the Decade by the International Magicians Society. Criss was also unanimously selected as the recipient of the 22nd Louie Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Art of Magic. Criss is also an accomplished musician having produced and performed on five self-titled CDs, has appeared in arenas coast-to-coast including a sold-out run Madison Square Garden, and broke all-time attendance records during his appearance at Borders Books and Music. In 2008, Criss was named by the Make-A-Wish foundation as the celebrity who has done more for its organization than any other celebrity.
