Although not actually a profiler for BAU, Jennifer, or "JJ," acts as the team's liaison with the police and media. JJ sometimes accompanies the teams on raids (and has a perfect shot). She usually works out of the office, but only handles cases for which she feels she is "emotionally stable." JJ had an older sister who committed suicide when JJ was 11 years-old. Although she has distaste for guns, she shoots and kills a man in the FBI offices when he threatens Garcia's life.
JJ went on a date with Reid, but the relationship did not work out and they stayed friends. She is currently dating William LaMontagne, Jr., and has a son, Henry, with him. Garcia and Reid are Henry's godparents.
JJ enjoys playing darts, cards and used to collect butterflies as a child.
You stop caring, you're jaded. If you care too much, it'll ruin you.”
