Q - What is A&E Classroom?
A - A commercial free block of programming designed for classroom use. A&E Classroom airs Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 9:30am NT/ 8 to 9am AT/ 6 to 7am CT/ 5 to 6 am MT and 4 to 5am PT.

Q - How can I get A&E Classroom?
A - Please consult your local listings or call you cable operator to find out what channel A&E is on in your area. If your school is wired for cable, you are welcome to set your videocassette recorder to tape A&E Classroom programs. If your school is not wired for cable, you may also tape at home.

Q - Are there support material available?
A - Twice each year, A&E develops support materials to help you incorporate A&E Classroom into your curriculum. The A&E Classroom Calendar provides six months of scheduling information and program descriptions. A&E Study Guides include classroom activities and discussion questions for select programs. Additional Study Guides are available online. Our website address is http://www.aande.com.

Q - Is there a cost to receive A&E Classroom and the support materials?
A - Absolutely not! A&E Classroom and the support materials have been developed as a classroom resource for Canadian educators to use free of charge. (Please remember to return the request form to receive the next kit.) For additional information, please call 1-800-722-6146.

Q - What is A&E’s copyright policy?
A - In Canada, programs telecast as part of A&E Classroom may be videotaped and used in a classroom for up to two years from the airdate. The exact length of time that an A&E Classroom program may be retained appears on-air at the beginning of each program.

Note:
No other programs telecast on A&E should be videotaped for classroom use in Canada, due to provisions of applicable Canadian law, without express written authorization from the copyright holder.
