Corporal Storm Fitch

Corporal Storm Fitch began his career with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2005 as a Correctional Officer at the jail. In 2009, he was selected to the elite SWAT Team of the T.P.S.O., where he served as a shield man. Both of Fitch’s brothers are also members of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Steam and Dakota grew up in Mechanicville, an area widely affected by drugs and violence; it was not unusual for many of the young men of that neighborhood to experience run-ins with the deputies of the T.P.S.O. Fitch’s brother Steam also became a deputy with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

As an assistant supervisor of patrol, Corporal Fitch now takes pride in promoting those values he learned as a young man, and does his best to set a proper example for the deputies he supervises, as well as for the young men he encounters as he patrols the streets of Mechanicville. While he humbly admits to knowing little about baseball, Fitch has proudly taken on the role of coach for his four-year-old daughter tee ball team.
