Born August 28th, 1982 in Jackson Mississippi, Margaret LeAnn Rimes, began her career at the young age of fourteen with the break-out hit, Blue -- a song originally written for Patsy Cline. Her album, Blue, earned the Texas-raised Rimes two Grammys for "Best New Artist" and for "Best Female Country Vocal." She followed up with the record-breaking sensation, How Do I Live. She now has more than forty-two hit singles, and twenty million records sold. This multi-talented, country-music sensation has also dabbled in acting, on the big and small screens, and has had several books published, including the popular children's book Jag.
