What are the best parts of your job? Why do you love it?

The guests are the best part about my job. I have always been a people person and it's a rewarding experience when I am able to make them happy.

What's the best experience you've had on the job?

One of my regular tables surprised me with a Christmas gift. They brought me a crème brulee torch so I could make them crème brulee chocolate.

What do you like to do for fun in your spare time?

Play Borderlands 2 with my wife and make cheesecakes.

What did you learn about yourself from the experience?

I learned that I would do anything for my family and I will never give up.

What was the toughest part of the process for you?

Being away from my family and not knowing exactly what was happening.

How has being on the show changed your life and your family's life?

It has given me the opportunity to not stress as much about life and bills. I can now spend more time with my family. It's given me motivation to keep working hard at what I do and I am excited for my future in the company.

How has your work life changed? How do you like your new opportunity?

My work life hasn't changed much. I am still doing what I wanted to do and that is making people happy. I am excited for my new position and opportunity to start at the beginning of the new year. The chance to work directly with Bob Johnston has made this all the more special to me; I have a feeling I am going to learn a lot from him and other corporate staff members.

Would you have done anything different during the competition?

When we were given a set amount of money to buy food for the competition, I would have kept a tighter budget. There were certain parts of the dinner I did not get to do for my guests because I ran out of money.

I was born in Allentown, PA.

July of 2009

What are the best parts of your job? Why do you love it?

I love the people. I love working with my staff and giving the guests a memorable experience.

What's the best experience you've had on the job?

Any night of perfect service makes me so glad I do what I do.

What do you like to do for fun in your spare time?

I travel when I can. I shoot pool and socialize with friends.

What did you learn about yourself from the experience?

I learned I spend every waking moment making sure everyone is happy, and I have neglected my own happiness.

What was the toughest part of the process for you?

Admitting to myself that I am not happy with my current life.

How has being on the show changed your life and your family's life?

Currently, I find my life much more challenging.

How has your work life changed? How do you like your new opportunity?

My life now includes working towards obtaining a prize that I was not prepared to win. I am looking forward to finding out if I am able to take on a new opportunity.

Would you have done anything different during the competition?

I don't know that I could have done anything differently. I tackled everything to the very best of my ability, and gave it 110%.
