David "Shep" Shepard

David "Shep" Shepard is as easygoing as they come in Texas. Never a sore loser or bragger, losing to the Campbells has no effect on this humble hunter of the Creek gang. He'd rather root out hogs than compete against anyone or anything, except his own track record. He's here to hunt. He loves his friends as much as anyone, but if they don't get back to it, he might have to reconsider his allegiance.

Born and raised in Belton, TX, David met Ronnie when he sold Creek some hunting dogs, and has been chipping in at Tater Creek Outfitters for the last few years. He is a champion roper, and also operates his own business, ShepCo Installations, installing school furniture. David and his wife have been married since 1983; they have two daughters and two grandbabies. David is also a lung and colon cancer survivor.
