New York City-based actress Reiko Aylesworth comes out of the theater world where she got her start and training starring in such plays as Eric Bogosian's "Humpty Dumpty" at the McCarter Theatre, "Missing Marisa/Kissing Christine" for director/playwright John Patrick Shanley, and playwright Lyle Kessler's "Robbers" for director Marshall Mason, among many others.
Aylesworth has made a name for her in the television arena as a series regular on FOX's "American Embassy" and Aaron Spelling's "All Souls." She had a recurring role on "Law & Order: SVU" and guest-starred on "The West Wing" and "Law & Order." Other guest-starring roles include playing the love interest to the leading men on both "Ed" and "The Dead Zone." She also had lead roles in the mini-series "A Will of Their Own," "Someone Had to Be Benny" and will appear in the upcoming cable movie "Fathers and Sons." In film, Aylesworth has co-starred in Sydney Pollack's "Random Hearts" and several independent features.
