Recently named one of PEOPLE magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People,” Carlos Bernard returns to 24 for his third season as Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) agent Tony Almeida.
Bernard has played a wide variety of engaging characters in film and television. His film credits include “The Colonel’s Last Flight,” “Vegas: City of Dreams” and “The Killing Jar.” He has left his mark on many television series with notable guest appearances on “Walker, Texas Ranger,” “F/X: The Series,” “Babylon 5” and “Moloney.” He was also a regular on the daytime soap “The Young and the Restless.”
Bernard began his acting career in the theater, starring in and directing numerous productions. This past summer, he returned to the stage to perform in the Los Angeles production of “Blackout.”
He attended Illinois State University and graduated from the Master of Fine Arts acting program at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
